Two en suite bedrooms, sleeps 6. Basic cutlery and crockery provided. Splash-pool. One Night: R900.00 per night2-4 Nights: R800.00 per nightPay for 5 nights and receive a sixth night free! This is the first cottage that you will encounter as you enter our property. It is the furthest away from the Boplaas farm house and in a very secluded and unique setting. The original building was a small single bed roomed cottage with a small kitchen and equally small living room. When we started restoring the cottage lots of thought went in to how to change it but still retain most of its character. In the end we made the original building into a single spacious open-plan living room/dining room/kitchen. This shows up the beautiful thatched roof and beams the best and adds to the already grand character. Another building was then built perpendicular to the original and two en suite-bedrooms were created: one main bedroom, with a double bed and en suite bathroom; and another second bedroom, with two single beds on ground level and two beds on the loft. It also has its own en suite bathroom. Bedding is provided, but no towels (it only gets taken away!) A two-plate gas cooker and gas fridge is available in the kitchen area, but a big attraction to all guests is the wood burning Dover-stove in the sitting area. A gas geyser supplies hot water for the showers and sink in the kitchen. Cutlery, crockery and basic barbecue tools and grid are provided. A veranda connects the two buildings and a splash-pool and outside braai area completes the whole setting. A grassy lawn surrounds the whole cottage. Braai wood is provided for the first night

One Night: R900.00 per night 2-4 Nights: R800.00 per night Pay for 5 nights and receive a sixth night free! This dwelling belonged to the other Mostert brother (Oom Piet)and is situated next to the lovely little mountain stream running through the whole property. It is also approximately 500 yards away from the main farm yard of Boplaas. The front door leads into a very spacious open plan living area: consisting of a sitting area with a wood burning Dover stove, which provides heating in winter and adds a special atmosphere to this cottage; a dining area, which leads to the well-equipped kitchen at the back. A double bed occupies the spacious main bedroom inside the main house. Leading from the front veranda two bedrooms are situated on each side of the house. One bedroom sleeps two people in separate beds and the other consists of a rather big room occupied by four single beds. Bedding is provided, but no towels (they only get taken away!). There is a bathroom adjacent to the dining room inside, which is shared by all; but outside a flush toilet, wash basin and hotwater shower are also available, overlooking the mountain side. These facilities are open roofed to nature, except for the toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a gas fridge, a two plate gas cooker and big sink area. Cutlery, crockery and basic barbecue tools and a grid are supplied. A gas geyser supplies hot water for the inside shower and sink in the kitchen. Outside there is a lovely braai area and the side of the cottage is covered by a grass

Sleeps 2. One Night: R500.00 2-4 Nights: R400.00 per night Pay for 5 nights and receive a sixth night free! On the land next to our newly erected farm shed and very close to Oom Piet’s cottage, was a restored (or rather “saved”) small building with a thatched roof. This was a store room in the old days and boasted a concrete floor to house the grain and a loft for storing dried fruit and other produce. We have recently added a bathroom to the side of the building, but left the original single room as it had been. Kitchen facilities have been introduced on the one side of the room and the rest of the room is occupied by a double bed and small table and chairs. On the outside a small veranda was erected. Lately a spash pool and barbecue were built adjacent to the veranda. Two reed shelters were erected: one for the wind and another for privacy. This little cottage boasts a lovely view of the mountain on the northern side of the valley and is truly a wonderful “honeymoon suite” with lots of character. Bedding is provided, but no towels (they only get taken away!). A gas fridge, a two plate gas cooker and sink are available in the kitchen area. A gas geyser supplies hot water for the shower and sink in the kitchen. Cutlery, crockery and basic barbecue tools and a grid are provided. Braai wood is provided for the first night and more can be purchased from Donald, if needed. The Stalletjie is also equipped with solar lighting, but at night time can be turned into an adorable setting with candles and a lamp provided. At the moment, it has
