The Camp Site

  • Lovely secluded setting.
  • Two toilets and two showers.
  • Hot water supplied by “Donkey” burner.
  • Washing-up facilities.
  • R200 per vehicle per night (6 people per vehicle, one vehicle per site).

A lovely secluded setting has been chosen for our camp site. It is located 1 km from the main farm yard of Boplaas in a wooded area next to the mountain stream.

Grass has been planted and ablution facilities erected. A “Donkey”-burner provides hot water to the showers and washing-up facilities and wood is supplied to feed the burner. Braaiwood is provided for the first night, but more can be purchased from Donald.

Not more than six people are allowed per vehicle to secure the peace and tranquillity of our farm.

Reservations can be made directly with Donald: 0235411851; But: be aware that the phone is not always manned and you need to leave a message and contact number for him to phone back. Payment for the Camp site will be directly to Donald on the farm. All enquiries will be handled by him. For a limited time, Rykie can also be contacted for help with these bookings: 0833066715 or boplaas@gmail.com.

Hi. Thank you for opening up your beautiful farm to the general public and nature lovers like me. I spent four days camping in your wonderfull campsite. Your host Donald was most helpfull with knowledge of hiking roetes ect. maggie the dog even made me feel welcome by going with me on my daily walks.Donald even sent me up the ladder which I enjoyed doing for the first time. I have camped at cape nature and piet red beard many times but your farm has that special magic. Is there a special rate for bachelors or is it one price for all. I would like to come and stay at the end of November for at least a week to get that real hel feeling but at R200 a day it just might brake the bank. Can one pay a yearly fee and camp for free or then get a reduced rate. All these questions, sorry just a thought. Thank you again for a very special four day camp at your wonderfull nature reserve. Regards Dean

    Groete

    Vriendelike groete
    Philip & Karin
